This artwork was conceived after major research into the Great Michaelangelo's repertoire. I had obtained two hundred year old parchment from an Auction business. Loose Map Books dumped outside in boxes. I then used ancient umber ink mixed with chalk to raise the highlights. Exactly the way the master constructed his work. I drew the whole thing in one go with a scribe pen nib.
